Last weekend marked a significant milestone for the SPS team as Jaron Giannini made his ARCA debut in the No. 23 car at Irwindale Speedway. Competing in his first-ever ARCA races, Jaron delivered stellar performances, finishing 6th and 5th, respectively.
His debut not only showcased his talent and potential but also highlighted the incredible teamwork and support that Sigma Performance Services is known for.
Jaron Giannini shared his thoughts on the weekend, saying, “It was a lot of fun and a great learning experience. Looking back now, there were a few things I could’ve done differently, but that’s all part of the learning process. The entire SPS crew did an incredible job over the three days, making me comfortable with the car and helping me adjust to its differences from what I’m used to. Thanks to Joe for the opportunity and the team for all of their hard work and support!”
Team owner Joe Farrè expressed his pride and satisfaction with Jaron’s performance and the team’s efforts. “SPS could not be more proud of Jaron and the SPS crew for delivering solid results under a driver debut situation,” said Farrè. “We were happy to see Jaron engage this event as an ‘opportunity,’ and I think his performance is a reflection of this young man’s discipline, dedication, and abilities. We couldn’t have been more happy for him and this awesome outcome.”
Joe Farrè also extended his gratitude to Jaron’s father, Steve, and his entire support network for stepping up and making this possible for Jaron. "We all know what it takes to get a quality car, driver, and support group to the race track, and for this group to step up and make this opportunity possible also deserves recognition and appreciation for their dedication to Jaron, the sport, and SPS.”
Jaron’s performance at Irwindale demonstrated his respect for the equipment, appreciation for his crew and team members, and an innate ability to push the car to its limits when necessary. Farrè highlighted that "Jaron is really good at knowing how and when to drive a car to its limits. This combination of skills and abilities is both rare and unique, and we are proud to be associated with Jaron and to have been a part of this awesome experience.”
The success of Jaron Giannini’s ARCA debut is a testament to his talent and the unwavering support of his team and family. SPS is excited to see what the future holds for this promising young driver. “We certainly hope that this gets more of the racing community and network to get behind and support this talented young man,” Joe concluded.
Congratulations to Jaron Giannini and the entire SPS crew for an unforgettable weekend at Irwindale Speedway!
