This year's Summer Showdown was nothing short of exciting, and it was a particularly exceptional race day for the SPS team. Not only did we secure a place in the top five with Donny St Ours in the Super Late Model division, but we also managed to clinch a top ten position with Ricky G in the Pro Late Model. Both these achievements signify the progress, hard work, and determination of everyone involved in the SPS team.
Donny St Ours, hopped in the Super Late Model for the first time this year, and once again demonstrated his skill and finesse on the race track. His talent with a strong team secured him a commendable top-five position amidst a highly competitive field. St Ours, in his characteristic fashion, fought hard in every lap, pushing his limits and showcasing the true spirit of SPS – that of unyielding determination and excellence. We are tremendously proud of his performance and believe it serves as a testament to his race craft and the strength of our team.
Ricky G - Steady in the Top Ten in Pro Late Model
The Pro Late Model division saw another incredible performance by an SPS team member. Our talented driver Ricky G showed his maturity and determination with a finish in the top ten. The first time on a big fast 5/8 mile, Ricky G held his own, proving once again why he is regarded as a formidable contender in his division. His achievement at the Summer Showdown adds another feather to the SPS cap, reinforcing our reputation for nurturing top-tier talent and delivering on the big stage.
